The RHA Training Facility
Many of our training programs are held at the RHA Service Center in our member training facility, accomodating as many as 20 trainees in a theater style setting. Our class room setting can accomodate 15 students for in-depth training.
Member Community Meetings
Community meetings are designed to provide members with an opportunity get up to speed on issues in their community and to be heard! . Understanding what your local government is doing to affect your business is absolutely crucial to your business success. Meetings are held in different cities throughout Southern Alameda County. Come and learn what you can do to PROTECT ethical and professional operation of your business.
Free - "The Basics" Training Seminar
We regularly provide free training to landlords of Southern Alameda County, covering important general conscepts that every landlord should know. This seminar is a great opportunity to learn more about what the RHA has to offer. Call the RHA to book your free reservation.
Managing Rental Housing Series
The MRH Educational Series (formerly MMAP) is designed to provide all rental housing owners and rental property managers with a comprehensive understanding of general rental management fundamentals. Managers and owners in Southern Alameda County receive specific education on issues that affect their business. If you are part of today's volatile rental housing market, you know how important it is to remain informed and up-to-date on all issues that can affect the way you run your business.
Tenant Screening Seminars

CBA presents special tenant-screening seminars for all RHA members. Get your questions answered and learn what is new in the world of credit and eviction reporting. Hone your tenant screening skills and review how to interpret credit and eviction reports.

Our members have access to some of the best landlord attorneys in the State! The RHA provides regular Q/A sessions to our members to get those legal questions answered!
California Certified Residental Manager (CCRM)
Designation Training Program
The Property Management Series of courses provides students with excellent overall training in how to effectively operate rental property in California.
The Property Management Series consists of nine required courses for the CCRM professional designation. Each class is designed to be taught in a three and a half hour block of time. The classes do not have to be taken in a particular order, though it is beneficial to do so.
There is a great demand for qualified rental housing professionals. With property values and owner liability on the rise, untrained housing providers present an increasing liability for owners, management companies, residents and the community. The industry is complex, but these courses can provide students the road map to navigate California’s complicated legal and operational environment. For those students who are interested in advancing in a career in property management, the California Apartment Association offers the California Certified Residential Manager professional designation (CCRM).
CCRM is only provided by member associations of the California Apartment Association Network.
Hot Topic Membership Meetings
RHA Membership Meetings provide a variety of interesting topics and speakers on issues important to the rental housing industry.
Legislative Grassroots Meetings are held in just about every political district monitored by the RHA. No one understands rental housing better than you do. That is why we provide "meet and greet" opportuinities for our elected officials that expose them to real real rental property owners/operators.
